STC 4038 Ribbon Microphone at Loop Studios

The STC 4038 is a vintage microphone from the 1950's.

The mic was designed and patented by the BBC and produced by STC (Standard Telephones and Cables) until the mid 70's when they ceased to exist, before manufacture was continued by Coles.

Design specification has not changed since its first manufacture, and we have a vintage pair here at Loop Studios.
